GECU is now the official credit union of UTEP Athletics! As two of the largest institutions in El Paso, GECU and UTEP share a common goal of empowering and elevating the community through higher education.

They have made a huge impact in El Paso and we feel like our two organizations will continue to forge a win-win relationship that benefits UTEP and this community for years to come.”

Under the new agreement, the GECU Pickaxe Rewards credit card will continue to be available to GECU members. GECU is currently working on new and exciting opportunities to bring members of the community to support UTEP athletics. Among these plans is the GECU Terrace, located directly under the press box at the Sun Bowl that is set to be completed by the 2020 football season.
