Every year, GECU employees come together to support education by donating to our back-to-school fundraiser and it is always a tremendous success! We are so passionate about helping our community that we decided we want to help even more students — but we’re going to need your help to do it.
With the school year around the corner, the GECU Foundation is raising funds to provide students from three low-income schools in our community with the essential supplies that they need for the school year and we are welcoming you to help us reach our goal. We want to provide students with everything from backpacks and notebooks to crayons and pencils!
The GECU Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity that supports GECU’s mission and goals and the credit union movement by supporting charitable causes that focus on eleven developmental issues: education, savings mobilization, representation, hunger, health, housing, transportation, employment and income generation, access to credit, appropriate technology, and environment.
