We’re excited to announce an expansion to our Diamond in the Desert — the GECU Operations Center! The expansion celebration kicked off today with the unveiling of a new addition to El Paso’s skyline at the GECU Operations Center located at 1225 Airway Blvd.
GECU has experienced incredible growth over the last decade to nearly 380,000 members with 25 locations citywide and 800+ employees. The new building will help carry GECU into the future and expand its operational footprint.

The new building will continue to demonstrate our long-term commitment to this wonderful community,” stated Crystal Long, President and CEO. “And our members, community and visitors to the region will enjoy seeing our beautiful buildings and campus when traveling on the Airway corridor from the airport.”
The newly designed building will be another gem that complements the current Operations Center. It will be built at our current location and will house employees working on organizational support. The GECU Drive-thru at Airway and Edgemere will remain open during construction.
