FROM CRYSTAL LONG
Every year you help make the Spirit of Giving a huge success and we’re happy to announce the return of this powerful collaboration between GECU, MEMBERS Trust Company*, GECU Investment Services**, and the El Paso Community Foundation***. GECU’s purpose is centered on our “people helping people “philosophy; we work together to elevate our community and help each other accomplish our goals year round. There’s just something about the warmth of the holiday season that makes giving even more special. Working together we can help the elderly and young of our community create lasting, joyful memories. Stop by a participating branch to learn more about how you can brighten someone’s holiday season by giving them a much-needed gift. I hope you join our Spirit of Giving this year!
The holiday season is a great time to think about your accomplishments and the things you are grateful for. I want to thank all our members for trusting GECU and believing in the credit union philosophy for 85 years and counting! 2017 was filled with a lot of excitement for you and your credit union! We opened four new branches, including two located inside of our high schools, providing greater financial fitness opportunities for our youth. We also provided you with new chip-enabled debit and credit cards for added security, and we worked to create awareness of the credit union movement. You are the best advocates for GECU and you’ve done a great job telling our community what makes your credit union so special! Thank you for being a member and making GECU a warm, vibrant place every day! Happy Holidays and a Prosperous New Year to you and yours!
