One way to make sure that our board of directors is ready to meet ongoing leadership demands is by appointing advisory directors. Advisory directors attend and participate in monthly board meetings. While they do not have the authority to vote, their insight and input is invaluable to the board. As with our board members, advisory directors are voluntary positions and their services are not eligible for payment. By regulation, GECU is allowed up to six advisory directors. Our nominating committee is accepting nominations. If you are a member in good standing, want to serve your credit union, and possess strong leadership and business management skills, please mail your résumé and cover letter to:
