Share the Warmth of the Holidays
Holiday traditions may vary by family — everyone has their own foods, customs and gatherings that they share to celebrate the holiday season. At the heart of all of these traditions is the spirit of giving and caring for the people around us. This holiday season, GECU Investment and Trust Services and the El Paso Community Foundation* present the virtual Spirit of Giving initiative, a way to share the warmth and generosity of the holiday season with our community.
Pick a Tag. Buy a Gift. Change a Life.
To join in the Spirit of Giving, visit spiritofgiving.epcf.org/gecu and select a tag off of the Christmas tree. Each tag comes with the name of a child or senior citizen in our community as well as the name of a gift that they’d like to receive. Purchase and place the gift in a gift bag, put the tag on it and deliver it to the location that will be emailed to you. You can also purchase the gift right from the site using your debit or credit card and the El Paso Community Foundation will purchase your gift from a local vendor. All of the gifts will be collected and given to the recipients.
Make an Impact on Our Community
Every year, our community donates more than 100 gifts to children and treasured seniors in the El Paso area through the Spirit of Giving. 2020 marks the sixth year of this powerful collaboration that makes the holidays brighter. Your Spirit of Giving gift not only makes someone’s holiday warmer, but often meets a basic need like providing a warm coat. This is a great way to have a measurable impact on the life of someone in our community.
